Have you forgotten how beautiful you are? How powerful, how magnificent, how strong.
I had.
This morning, despite the vigorous strides I took as I climbed the hill to the lookout point at the lighthouse, I was feeling deflated. I was feeling less than beautiful, less than powerful, less than magnificent, less than strong.
And then I saw it. The crystal clear turquoise expanse of the ocean.
I sighed in awe. I felt aroused by its wildness. I laughed as its foam encased a graceful surfer. I was starstruck by its power.
I engaged with it for a very long while.
I love the water. I love how the water makes me feel.
And then I smiled. I remembered.
I am water. I am made up of exactly what I am looking at in amazement right now.
If I see awe, wildness, beauty and power in the ocean, am I not that too?
As I walked back down the hill I was lighter, less burdened and more serene.
It’s not the first time I’ve discovered my true reflection in nature. And it’s not the last time I’ll lose it in the noise of the world.
But it was a timely reminder of where to go when I’m a little lost. Where I’ve always gone when I’m feeling stranded, judgemental or less than in any way.
My beauty was not returned to me in a jar or in a treatment or even in a compliment by another.
My beauty was returned to me in a mirror that I didn’t need to see my face in.
My beauty was all around me.
If you want to find your softness, bite into the juicy flesh of a new season fig.
If you want to find your lushness, lie in the thick green grass of a summer field.
If you want to find your magic, fall asleep under the sparkling stars in the sky.
If you want to find your voice, listen to the roar of the ocean.
If you want to find your mystique, bathe in the luminosity of a full moon.
If you want to find your creative source, make love with complete surrender.
If you want to find your openness, watch the delicate petals of a rose unfold.
If you want to reignite your fire, watch the morning sunrise.
If you want to be blown away by your magnificence, watch the evening sunset.
If you want to connect with your heart, open it to all that is around you and breathe.
This morning I breathed in the water, the air, the fire and the earth around me. In that breath I merged with all that is me already.
If I am bewitched by all of this, I am bewitched by me too.
Have you forgotten how beautiful you are?

The super moon...

So I read a lot about the moon and the eclipse today, being charged with new energy, and how what we focus on will manifest.

All my wishes are summed up in three words : my beautiful stranger !

I wished for a happy future for you, full of laughter and life.
I wished for your bright smiles and peaceful moments...

I wished for myself too... that somehow you'd share some of your pictures
so I could save them and look at your lovely face. (giggle)

In short, I wished for and focused on LOVE!

Talking to my beautiful stranger

I can feel this love dancing around me.
And I wonder if you can see it?
Sometimes it feels like you know how I feel about you.
This makes me laugh and feel a little shy.

I just hope that if you do know...
That I love you so...
it makes you smile
it makes you laugh
it makes feel good about yourself
it makes you shine like the sun.

it should just be your strength
it should be your refuge
it should be your peace.

I love you!

There's a path from me to you
I'm constantly looking for,
so I try to keep clear and still
as water does with the moon.
Longing is the core of mystery.
Longing itself brings the cure.
The only rule is: Suffer the pain.
Each moment you call me to you
and ask how I am, even though you know.
The love I answer you with
stirs like wind through cypress.
Your presence is a river
that refreshes everyone,
a rose-garden fragrance.
Don't worry about making doorways
between individual lovers when
this flow is so all around.
Some souls flow like clear water.
They pour into our veins and feel like wine.
I give in to that. I fall flat.
We can sail this boat lying down!
Humble living does not diminish. It fills.
Going back to a simple self gives wisdom.
When a man makes up a story for his child,
he becomes a father and a child
together, listening.
You don't win here with loud publicity.
Union comes of not being.
These birds do not learn to fly,
until they lose all their feathers.
~ Rumi
from Say I Am You,
the John Moyne, Coleman Barks translation.

Happy New Year to my beautiful stranger!

"And some souls will awaken you to things
you didn't even know were sleeping deep within...
When he first saw her, he knew she was the one.
When she first kissed him, she knew she was in love.
When he first touched her, his entire life changed.

And when she laid her head on his chest,
and he looked into her eyes,
they both knew...
they would love for an eternity."

May you always smile
and always be the love that you are!

Wishing you many moments
of quiet smiles, tight hugs,
presence of loved ones
and the ability to perceive beauty
in every day!
You rest in my heart!

LISTEN FROM SILENCE

Be present. Be here.
Feel your feet on the ground,
your belly rising and falling.
Be open and receptive
to the life all around you.
The sounds, smells, tastes.
Feelings rising unexpectedly.
A tingling in the belly.
A contraction in the throat.
Heaviness in the head.
An old sadness coming to visit.
Stay curious as the moment dances.
Listen. Listen with your entire body.
Hear yourself. Hear the other person.
Hear the silence in between the sentences.
Let the silence linger a little while longer.
There's no rush. There's no 'better' moment to get to.
Silence doesn't always need to be filled.
Be a little more naked. A little slower.
Know a little less what you're about to say.
Be a little less prepared, a little messier,
a little more willing to expose your vulnerable heart.
Be surprised at your own responses.
Don't numb yourself with the same old stories.
Stumble if you need to. It's okay. You are held.
Let your words emerge from silence and return to them.
Notice if you're talking just to avoid the silence.
Notice if you're regurgitating a story you've told before.
Notice if you're trying to impress, or win love.
Or avoid being seen for who you really are.
Friend, in silence we truly meet.
Genuine understanding is beyond mind.
Love is wordless; needs no more words.
Listen to the silence; it is volcanic.

My Beautiful Stranger !

I saw you looking,
and I know that
you stared for a while.
When I caught you
a second time,
it made us both smile.

I remember thinking, too,
about that naughty smile
and stunning eyes.
You made me curious,
and I wanted you closer
as the minutes went by.
You are very familiar.
I know you;
I can feel your vibe.
You don't just see me,
you feel my thoughts.
You're part of my tribe.
So take my hand.
Let's begin
what's meant to be.
We both know
that I am here for you
and you for me.

My beautiful stranger ...

I would like to go to sleep each night by thanking you for being with me,
And wake each morning pleasantly surprised to find you are in my life,
I would like to feel admiration for the littlest things you do, and how,
and how you look others in the eyes, openly, with affection, sparkling but strong.

I do hope you know that I LOVE you, with all my heart & soul. I wish nothing more than
to see you flourish, be vibrant, be happy, be so full of life & love that flowers
bloom beneath your feet. I would come alive each time you smile
and dance when you laugh... my earnest prayer is for you to be as radiant
as the sun, as soothing as the moon...

I LOVE YOU!

When we tenderhearted women step into our power, we bow in acknowledgment to the recognition that we can no longer live a lie.
When the thought of feeling anything at all is too painful, we live the lies of addiction and of numbing ourselves out. In doing so, we distract ourselves from the vulnerability of exposing our real selves.
As we walk into our truth (sometimes for the first time in this lifetime), if we’re shifting, we can’t help but shift those around us.
When you step into your power, something becomes different about the way your light shines, dear heart — it’s sparked alive again.
By power, I don’t mean the power that brings energies of destruction to the world and leaves you clamoring to leave your mark in a manner of naivety and ego.
By power, I mean your power. I mean the power of your soul, the power of your consciousness that you were brought into this world to share. Stop hiding it — your gifts matter.
You could call it your gifts and talents, or your deepest secrets. But in a masculine-dominated world that doesn’t like to ruffle feathers and disrupt the natural hierarchy that our society has evolved into, you’ve grown up taking your superpowers out of safekeeping only when it feels safe (and that might be never).
When we women step into our power, we let go of who we were and we let go of the people who we walked with who simply don’t fit into the schema of our new identity. We let go of the shame of sharing the gifts and talents of our soul. We cut our tethers to the relationships that clipped our wings instead of strengthening our roots.
There’s great sorrow in shedding an old layer of ourselves that doesn’t fit anymore. You have every right to grieve your old identity, but grieve it, let it go, and then set it free. You’re going to be okay. Step into your power with grace and confidence, for this act of shifting yourself matters — and you matter too.
When you step into your power, you tell the story of who you are with your whole heart, for you can no longer tell a lie.
Stepping into our power as women doesn’t mean acting tough and pretending we’re okay. It means a deep acceptance of the fact that it’s okay to fall apart; it means recognizing the power of saying, “I will try again tomorrow, stronger and more powerful, and pick myself up, walking forward in my integrity.”
Stepping into your power is not a badge of courage or a sword you yield. It’s unlearning the shame and guilt of being human when you didn’t feel or act how the world told you you should to be a good human.
Our power is that deep self-acceptance of living for ourselves. Quit living for someone else, in search of their praise. You’re doing it right — you’re going to be just fine.
I simply won’t stand for living with my light off any longer. We women are too full of truth to lie and small ourselves away in the service of someone else’s truth.
“It’s not a woman’s job to get smaller and smaller until she disappears so the world can be more comfortable.” ~ Glennon Doyle Melton

Because if we are going to expect anything at all, then it should be that the one we love always feels free....

Love can either become a cage or the gift of having wings.

It can bog us down in responsibility or can uplift us with possibility.

Yet, regardless of how hard we try to hold on—the more we expect from the person we love, the more we will be let down. Truly loving another person doesn’t have to do with what they can give us, but what we can give them.

To love someone without expectations isn’t to deny our own wants or needs, but it is about giving them the space to be who they truly are and not wanting to change or rush their journey for them.

Expectations are the rules that our egos want us to play by. We develop a relationship with someone, and begin to expect certain things from them, because it’s what we want them to do.

We expect them to be around whenever we need someone to talk to, we expect them to be able to make room in their lives for us, and we expect them to be our first good morning and our last good night.

But is that really love? Or is it using someone else to fulfill our needs because we haven’t yet done that for ourselves?

The union and bond between two people is the catalyst for how we choose to live our lives. If we constantly expect or need someone to act in a certain way, so that we feel happy and satisfied, then we will always find ourselves unfulfilled and wanting more.

Because regardless of the connection between two people, neither one can bring happiness or love, if each person hasn’t individually found it for themselves.

We can only truly love another without expectations when we have first learned to love ourselves in the same way—because we are only capable of extending the type of love towards another that we have first given ourselves.

Until we can fill our own cup and accept ourselves for who we truly we are, we will continue to look for others to do it—and in that same capacity, we won’t only be loving others through the lens of attachment or expectation, but loving ourselves in that way as well.

Loving another without expectation first begins with accepting and loving ourselves.

We need unattachment in love, but we also need to lose our expectations as well. The minute we start expecting something from a lover, whether it’s a call, text or even a visit then we are beginning to box them in according to a pattern of behavior that we have become accustomed to. We are now beginning to set expectations of behavior, based on previous behavior, without giving the freedom to our lover to simply be who they are in that moment. If we begin to impose our own wants and needs on another, then we are also saying that those desires come before their own.

This isn’t about becoming a doormat, or even a victim—but it is about realizing that the only way to truly love someone—and have it last—is to also not expect that just because they did something yesterday means that are able to do it today.

“Let there be space in your togetherness, and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another, but make not a bond of love. Let it be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous but let each one of you be alone. Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping. And stand together yet not too near together. For the pillars of the temple stand apart, and the oak tree and cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.” ~ Kahlil Gibran

In order for love to truly last, and to encourage growth between ourselves and our lover, we also have to remain separate. We have to allow space between where they end and where we begin. The only love that truly does last is the one where each person knows that they are free to roam and grow individually.

Loving someone doesn’t mean I only care for you as long as you are playing by my rules—what it really means is that I love you whether you fall asleep next to me each night, or not, and whether I’m triggered by your actions, or not. Because regardless of how far you may travel, I will always be your home.

To love someone without expectation isn’t to say that we don’t want them to love us, or that we don’t want them to make us happy—but it is saying that the love we feel isn’t contingent upon only those factors.

It’s giving someone the gift of our love and then encouraging them to fly away. Not because we want to lose them, but to show them that despite where they might travel to, what they may experience, or even how they might grow—our love will be there regardless.

A love without expectation is the root of a long-term love affair with another person, with the self and with the evolution of life.

Because if we are going to expect anything at all, then it should be that the one we love always feels free.

We hide from love. We hide in old relationships, old lives and old beliefs. In our perceived unworthiness of real love, we shield ourselves with what no longer fits. We wish on every falling star for love while silently doubting it exists at all. We write about it, sing songs about it and dedicate our waking lives thinking about it, all the while doubting our own deserving of that which we dream of. We ache for it and then hide under the blankets closing our eyes tightly.
What are we so afraid of?
Vulnerability. Surrender. Letting go of control. Believing. Change. Being unworthy. Being real. Trusting. Being seen. Releasing old beliefs. Hope. Rejection. All the components we fight against while desiring to open up completely and let someone in.
We are so afraid of rejection, we swallow our words. We are so blind to our worthiness and deserving, we swallow our truth. We are so deaf to the call of our heart, we swallow our deepest feelings, needs and desires.
Oh weary warrior, lay down the heavy armor that covers your heart. The time to fight against the tides of love is over.

THE EYE OF HAPPINESS

You cannot attain happiness,
for happiness is the absence
of the seeker of it.
Terrible news for the false self.
Wonderful news for you.
Happiness is rest.
Happiness is presence.
Happiness is a divine Nothing.
It is a seeing, not a doing.
No future required.
No path required.
No time required at all.
No special techniques, practices, mantras will get you there.
Because you cannot get there.
Because there is no 'there'.
Because there is here.
Right HERE.
All you require is a willingness
to turn your attention towards
the only thing there ever is:
NOW.
And let the conceptual world fall away.
And let the old dreams fall away.
And let yourself tumble into a sacred aloneness.
And begin again.
Like a child...
Like the first awe-struck being...
Like a Universe witnessing itself...
You cannot attain happiness,
for happiness is never an attainment.
It is a world seen
through grateful, innocent eyes.
And it has nothing to do with your concept of 'happiness'.
And it lasts only a moment, and an eternity.
Nothing can make you happy
except Nothing.
And that's the best news of all.

Two poems for my beautiful stranger ...

"Think of me when you're lonely,
because with my thoughts and my soul,
I will keep you company.
Think of me, when you need love,
because I have so much to give you.
Think of me when you need a kiss,
because with my lips I would give you so many...
Think of me at least a second in the day.
because I'll never stop thinking of you."

*********************************************************

The seed was sown
And now the love has grown
I could not have taken
Another day or night alone
I was the definition of lonely
Nobody took the time to know me
But now I can feel it growing
Inside of me
Like springs flower
With every waking hour
I can feel it's power
Washing over me
And I give myself over blissfully
To it's sweet ecstasy
Love has got a grip on me
It started with a kiss
Who would have known
It would come to this
Cupid must have been listening
Because he fired his arrow
Straight at me
And granted me my wish...

The moon came to me last night
With a sweet question.

She said,
"The sun has been my faithful lover
For millions of years.

Whenever I offer my body to him
Brilliant light pours from his heart.

Thousands then notice my happiness
And delight in pointing
Toward my beauty.

Hafiz,
Is it true that our destiny
Is to turn into Light
Itself?"

And I replied,
Dear moon,
Now that your love is maturing,

We need to sit together
Close like this more often

So I might instruct you
How to become
Who you
Are!

THE BEAUTIFUL SILENCE BETWEEN US...

Sometimes we speak not because we have anything important or authentic or heartfelt to say, not because we even want to talk, but because we feel uncomfortable, nervous, anxious about not talking. We speak in order to avoid the void, distract from the extraordinary absence at the heart of life. Many people in the modern world find even a few moments of silence in a conversation awkward, uncomfortable, even embarrassing.
It doesn’t have to be this way. In some Native American cultures, it's usual to wait up to several minutes before responding to a question, or taking one’s turn in a conversation. Replying too soon is considered rude. You obviously haven't truly listened to what the other person is saying.
So...
Slow down, friend. Get out of your head and into your body. Take a few moments to just feel your feelings in a conversation. Let yourself feel awkward in the silence if you must! So what? It’s just a sensation, it won't hurt you, and the silence will hold it anyway.
Take the risk that the other person will pick up on your feelings of awkwardness or think that you're boring or weird. Hey, at least you are real. At least you aren’t hiding behind a wall of words. At least you are trying to connect in a deeper way. At least you have the courage to feel and not distract yourself.
Bring some space into your conversations today. Listen. Wait. Respond from presence. Let the conversation breathe.
Remember, our deepest connections are always made in silence. Witness a mother rocking her baby to sleep, two old friends or lovers, a simple walk in nature. Words are not actually necessary at all for us to feel each other, know each other, understand each other very deeply.

When talking about awareness, most of us identify with our awareness through the ego, through the mind and senses. But the true self is in the middle of our chest, in our spiritual heart. So, to get from ego to the true self I said “I am loving awareness.” Loving awareness is the soul. I am loving awareness. I am aware of everything, I’m aware of my body and my senses and my mind, I’m aware of all of it, but I notice that I’m loving all of it. I’m loving all of the world. The self that I identify with emanates from the ocean of love. The self that is the ego is the ocean of fear. When I am loving awareness I’m aware of everything outside, but pulling into the heart, the spiritual heart, brings me to loving awareness. I’m aware of my thoughts, but loving awareness is simply witnessing them. And loving awareness is in the moment. I have thoughts about the past and future, and those are not helpful, so I dive deep into the present and the presence and in this present moment we will find loving awareness. Only this moment is real, this moment of loving awareness. The past and the future are all just thoughts.
In this spiritual heart there is peace, there is contentment, and there is compassion. There is also joy and wisdom, all inside of your spiritual heart and mine. So when you say “I want a peaceful world” you don’t look outside, you go inside where peace exists. In Hinduism the spiritual heart is called the “atman,” and it’s the God within.
In Hinduism there is a story about a horse drawn carriage. The horseman who is on top of the carriage represents the ego, and the spiritual heart or the soul is in the carriage. The horses represent your motivation, and anytime the soul decides that the horse is going the wrong way, the soul takes his stick and taps on the window and tells the horseman to go in a different direction. So most of us identify with the horseman, because you are an incarnation that includes the ego. The soul has come from many previous incarnations, it’s been through many births and deaths and it has no fear. The ego is afraid that when this incarnation is ended, it’s all going to end. The soul knows that he or she goes through incarnation after incarnation. Your incarnation includes your parents, your body, your friends, your culture. I am in this body – this body, my personality, are all in time and space, but I am not in time or space. I am infinite. I am loving awareness.

“Hands cling to hands and eyes linger on eyes: thus begins the record of our hearts. It is the moonlit night of March; the sweet smell of henna is in the air; my flute lies on the earth neglected and your garland of flowers in unfinished. This love between you and me is simple as a song. Your veil of the saffron colour makes my eyes drunk. The jasmine wreath that you wove me thrills to my heart like praise. It is a game of giving and withholding, revealing and screening again; some smiles and some little shyness, and some sweet useless struggles. This love between you and me is simple as a song. No mystery beyond the present; no striving for the impossible; no shadow behind the charm; no groping in the depth of the dark. This love between you and me is simple as a song. We do not stray out of all words into the ever silent; we do not raise our hands to the void for things beyond hope. It is enough what we give and we get. We have not crushed the joy to the utmost to wring from it the wine of pain. This love between you and me is simple as a song.”

My beautiful stranger... I love you!

"Love just happens
When you are not looking for it
Not paying attention
Unaware
You could miss it the first few times
Then somehow this invisible magnetic energy
Pulls you and the person together
And you feel this beautiful magic
That was not there before
And their name becomes the most hypnotic name
And you die to see their eyes
When you open yours
Every time.

Love just happens.
When you least expect it
At any location
At any time
It never announces its arrival
And when it does find you
Its warmth is so strong
It may frighten you
You could close your eyes and feel it
And feel them
No matter where you are
Or they are
Every time.
Love just happens
And it happens to everybody
But some people have their sensors off.
Or hide from it.
Don't look for it.
Don't think about it.
Open your heart and it will find you.
It always does.
Whenever you think it forgot about you.
It just hits you.
Just like that.
Every time.
Love just happens."

True love requires vulnerability. True vulnerability means to feel and allow everything within yourself as much as possible, especially where it feels so uncomfortable or painful that you might come undone. This means revealing ALL the hidden thoughts, feelings, and secret agendas you keep hidden from others. Secrecy is often the hallmark of shame, and can block humility, which blocks vulnerability, and therefore true love.
The longer secrets are kept, the longer they haunt you. Over time, they build up layers of shame, regret, judgment, self loathing, fear, and anger that corrode away at one's soul and relationships. It create barriers on many levels due to scheming and playing out strategies to hide oneself in fear of being exposed.
The more you hide yourself, and neglect to accept what is within you, and set it free, the more you are suppressing your soul and destroying its capacity to truly love and be loved.
The more you reveal and express yourself, being with who you truly are- rather than what you would like to be OR what others would like to see you as- the closer you come to true love in a practical, tangible way. By doing this, everything in your life transforms for the better in ways you could not have imagined, because you are no longer blocking the flow of life through you.
We have the capacity to change everything through love, if only we allow ourselves to first accept things as they are, be vulnerable with what is, and live truthfully.

A PRAYER FOR THE LIVING
Life,
Break in me whatever needs to be broken.
Fix my hope of ever being fixed.
Use me. Draw every ounce of creativity out of me. Help me live a radically unique life, forever forging a never-before-trodden path in the forest.
Show me how to love more deeply than I ever thought possible.
Whatever I am still turning away from, keep shoving in my face.
Whatever I am still at war with, help me soften towards, relax into, fully embrace.
Where my heart is still closed, show me a way to open it without violence.
Where I am still holding on, help me let go.
Give me challenges and struggles and seemingly insurmountable obstacles, if that will bring an even deeper humility and trust in the intelligence of life.
Help me laugh at my own seriousness.
Allow me to find the humour in the dark places.
Show me a profound sense of rest in the midst of the storm.
Don't spare me from the truth. Ever.
Let gratitude be my guide.
Let forgiveness be my mantra.
Let this moment be a constant companion.
Let me see your face in every face.
Let me feel your warm presence in my own presence.
Hold me when I stumble.
Breathe me when I cannot breathe.
Let me die living, not live dying.

CROSS YOUR OWN BOUNDARIES

Every time you are unhappy or miserable,
you are just coming in touch with
your own boundaries.
It is limitation and boundary that is
the real cause of your disturbance.
You are peaceful and happy until
come in contact with your boundaries.

The moment you come in contact with it,
then the mind goes on a trip and
you move out of your centre.
At that moment what can you do?
You can just be grateful and pray for peace.
That very moment,
you will start smiling and however
hopeless the situation is,
you will walk through it.
The creation wants you to be happy.
God wants to see you full of
enthusiasm, joy, compassion and being happy.
But what do you do?
You keep a long face,
worry about this or that. What’s the fun?
Life is not meant for this.
God is trying his level best;
He has created so many things
for you to be happy.
God only helps those who help themselves.
So everyday make a resolution. “Today,
I am just going to be happy come what may.
I will not let anything disturb my happiness.
I am going to be contended, happy.”

For my beautiful stranger... you are a miracle! My miracle :)

"The more I get to know him, the more I can feel my heart opening without my control. I always wanted a man to look at me as if I were a miracle, but I didn't realize I would one day see a man just as grande."

Soul Energy Exchange

'Our sexual energy, our Life Force, is innocent. It is our expression of the pure and exhilarating desire to be ALIVE – everything contains this powerful impulse. At its deepest expression it is
the desire to give Love. It takes an incredible amount of energy to keep it locked down, but we do – out of shame, judgment, emotional and sexual wounding and deliberate manipulation by cultural conditioning.

When we explore deeply into our bodies, and release the emotional, energetic and physical contractions that block the free flowing of our Life Force, something incredible happens – our aliveness awakens. We feel ourselves again fully, maybe for the first time in this lifetime. We realize we are magical, powerful creatures beyond measure, interconnected with all of Life. Anything is possible.

We are not only the agents of magic; we are the magic. We are not only the vessel of God; we are part of God. We are a beautiful alive cell in the great Cosmic body. We were not created as slaves, not to our jobs, to the system, to money, to our parents, to bad relationships, to health problems. We were created to be loved, to love, to thrive, to create, to enjoy, to inspire, to be inspired, to revel in Creation.

Transforming your pain...

"Every obstacle we overcome is a deeper initiation into our Divine potential, every time we get over our fears, we release the resistances to our own inner Bliss, every time we cry endless tears, we water the seeds of thousands of Dreams.
Every time we break down, we find access to our deeper treasures, every time we lose our way, we have an opportunity to become Master navigators through the wilderness of life; every time we move through adversity with a little bit of humor and faith in ourselves, we open a portal into our miracle vibration, every time we are ready to give up, we find a strength that helps us to reach the peak of the highest mountain.
Pain is our way of sounding the alarm so that we can begin to rise up and expand into our Multi dimensional nature and our authentic self with both feet on the ground.
This is the Hero's journey, the Adventure of Life into reclaiming our Birthright and the act of ultimate Freedom."

Native Poem SPIRITUAL WARRIOR

*Life offers us the opportunity to become a Spiritual Warrior. A warrior is one who bravely goes into those dark areas within themselves to ferret out the Truth of their being. It takes great courage, stamina and endurance to become a Spiritual Warrior.*The path is narrow, the terrain rough and rocky. You will walk alone: through the dark caves, up those steep climbs and through the dense thick forest. You will meet your dark side. The faces of fear, deceit, and sadness all await your arrival.
*No one can take this journey but you. There comes a time, in each of our lives, when we are given the choice to follow this path. Should we decide to embark on this journey, we can never turn back.... Our lives are changed forever On this journey, there are many different places we can choose to slip into and hide. But the path goes on. The Spiritual Warrior stays the course, wounded at times, exhausted and out of energy. Many times, the Warrior will struggle back to their feet to take only a few steps before falling again.
*Rested, they forge on, continuing the treacherous path. The journey continues. The Spiritual Warrior stays the course. Weakened, but never broken. One day, the battle, loneliness and desperate fights are over. The sun breaks through the clouds; the birds begin to sing their sweet melodies. There is a change in the energy. A deep change within the self.
* The warrior has fought the courageous fight. The battle of the dark night of the soul is won. New energy now fills the Warrior. A new path is now laid before them. A gentler path filled with the inner-knowing of one who has personal empowerment.
* With their personal battle won, they are filled with joy. A new awareness that they are one with the Spirit beams as they go forth to show others the way. They are not permitted to walk the path for others. They can only love, guide and be a living example of the Truth of their being.

My beautiful stranger... being in love is the most blissful feeling ever!

Hello... my beautiful stranger with the golden heart!

So here I am, writing to you, safe in the anonymity of the internet. I cannot express directly to you, not because I am scared, but because I love you and don't wish to disturb you at any cost.

Yet this love that is in me because of you just bubbles over that I feel compelled to express it somewhere... as when we articulate clearly what we feel, it gets absorbed in the Universe and touches people somehow somewhere... it is my wish that :
when the first rays of the morning sun caress your face, you feel my love...
when you are moved by kindness, you feel my love...
when you hum along with a song you like, you feel my love...
when you feel the breeze kiss you gently on your cheek, you know it was me😊

I hold you within my heart with the most gentle, loving, tender feelings, wishing you to be always happy, healthy and full of joy... and when you share that love with the world, I just want to be somewhere near , watching you shine. Oh! My heart would be so full, just writing it down gives me unimaginable happiness!

Truly, love is the greatest blessing God bestows on us... our inner world rejoices and I am so so grateful to Him for granting me this boon which carries me, sustains me through all the pain, struggles and negativity of this world.

Stay safe, be happy, keep shining and be love always!

I love you!

English Meaning
I tried my best :)

Don’t speak another word
just sleep on my lap
I’ll protect you in my eyebrow
just change into a dream.

Like peacock’s feather
Fingers will caress you.
our conversion will
happen from the heart.

To stop eye’s tear
from overflowing
the eyebrow,
I collected as droplets,
My eyes has become a sea.

Even if I forget you,
never stopped thinking you.
Even if we split,
My love is not a lie.

I will follow you
forever,
Its fine if you think
me as your shadow,
It’s true

Extending nights
Extending dusk
Humidness of sweat drops
Unforgettable bedtimes

Time showing clock
We know it’s disturbance
Gap between changing clothes
We understood it later.

Unforgettable mind
It’ll appear even after death

You’re the begining
You’re the end
You’re the joy
You’re the universe

Even if it's long distance
Even that be the sky
You faded in brink of my eye
But mixed in my soul long back

With flower like lips
You drew a letter.
Before I could reply
You disappeared like a dream

Be stubborn
Your anger will reduce
We lost our beautiful appearance
From now on, its monsoon.

Don’t speak another word
just sleep on my lap
I’ll protect you in my eyebrow
just change into a dream.

Like peacock’s feather
Fingers will caress you.
our conversion will
happen from the heart.

To stop eye’s tear
from overflowing
the eyebrow,
I collected as droplets,
My eyes has become a sea.

Even if I forget you,
never stopped thinking you.
Even if we split,
My love is not a lie.

Don’t speak another word
just sleep on my lap

A RECOGNITION
I don't know you, and you don't know me; we discover each other in the Unknown. It is possible that we met five billion years ago at the formation of a star and have been drawn back to each other by some kind of divine loneliness, God's mad yearning for himself.
Loneliness is not a negative thing, it is the gravity of love, a brilliantly intelligent nostalgia which pulls lovers back to each other, keeps them on the path and prevents them from settling for less than the kind of love that endures five billion years of burning.
Forgetting, remembering, forgetting, like breathing, like the tides going in and out. I don't know you, and you don't know me, but we recognise each other, here in the Vastness.

The mind of a woman and the mind of a man are two distinct minds at their very core. And only with both can there be a world.
It began when G‑d decided to create a world. In doing so, He took two perspectives. He saw the world from beyond, as its Creator. And He saw the world from within, as the energy of life.
From that first perspective originates the mind of man; from the second, the mind of woman.
That is why the man has the power to conquer and subdue, but he does not have the woman’s sense of the other.
That is why the woman feels the other. She does not conquer, she nurtures. But her light is tightly constrained.
As they bond together, the man unleashes the woman’s light, and the woman teaches the man to feel the other. In that union shines the very essence of all that is holy and divine.

Dear woman... don't dim your shine!

Dear woman, sometimes you'll be too much woman. Too smart. Too beautiful. Too strong. Too much of something. That can make weak men feel like even less of a man. Which in turn can start making you feel like less of a woman. The biggest mistake you could make, though, is to remove jewels from your crown to make it easier for a man to carry. When this happens, I need you to understand, you do not need a smaller crown. You need a man with bigger hands.

Some nights I dream that you disguise yourself as the moonlight…
You quietly come in through my window...
You lie down next to me and softly kiss my neck,
and it feels so real...
If only it were.

My beautiful stranger... I deserve you!

I see you from the corner of my eye,  catch a fleeting glimpse of your jacket or your hands and I rejoice because I know you, I see you, I recognise you.

You are the one and it is just so simple and ordinary and quiet and incredible. You are home, you are love. Each time I look at you, I come alive.

My heart sings loudly, so loudly I am afraid you might hear it. Infact, I am afraid to sit next to people because they might hear my heart calling out your name!!

Then all my efforts will be in vain, efforts to be calm and composed and unself-conscious. I do some deep breathing to stay grounded, but damn! you are my ground as well!

We deserve each other.
We deserve each other.

These words echo in my heart and mind each time I see you.

That Love~
To swoon over the Moon,
To find countenance in the Sun,
To bathe in a mountain's early morning dew,
To be comforted by her warmth on a cold, winter's day,
Is to know that love.
To fall into a warm, natural spring,
To speak without ever saying a word,
To know, absent even the slightest thought,
To find desire in the eternal teasing of her soul,
Is to find that love.
To see beauty even in the roughest, uncut stone,
To stand tall even in the weakness of your knees,
To walk straight even when the mind fails in vertigo,
To find life when standing at death's door,
Is to discover that love.
To grasp a beauty that is silence in the chaos,
To find a smile through the veiled tears of suffering,
To know peace in the violent rages of a war,
To touch the face of heaven and God herself,
Is to finally meet that love.
It is that love for which our purpose lies,
It is that love for which our moments meet,
It is that love for which our dreams were broken,
It is that love for which our hearts do beat.
It is that love for which we seek.~

Love Oh Love...

"There is a desire within each of us,
in the deep center of ourselves
that we call our heart.
We are born with it,
it is never completely satisfied,
and it never dies.
We are often unaware of it,
but it is always awake.

It is the Human desire for Love.
Every person in this Earth yearns to love,
to be loved, to know love.
Our true identity, our reason for being,
is to be found in this desire.
Love is the 'WHY' of life,
why we are functioning at all.
I am convinced
it is the fundamental energy
of the Human Spirit,
the fuel on which we run,
the wellspring of our vitality.
And Grace,
which is the flowing
creative activity of Love itself,
is what makes all goodness possible.
LOVE should come first,
it should be the beginning of,
and the reason for everything."

Information Please...

When I was quite young, my family had one of the first telephones in our neighborhood. I remember well the polished oak case fastened to the wall on the lower stair landing. The shiny receiver hung on the side of the box. I even remembered the number: 105.
I was too little to reach the telephone, but I used to listen with fascination when my mother talked into it. Once she lifted me up to speak to my father, who was away on business. Magic! Then I discovered that somewhere inside that wonderful device lived an amazing person — her name was “Information Please,“ and there was nothing that she did not know. My mother could ask her for anybody’s number and when our clock ran down, Information Please immediately supplied the correct time.
My first personal experience with this genie-in-the-receiver came one day while my mother was visiting a neighbor. Amusing myself at the tool bench in the basement, I whacked my finger with a hammer. The pain was terrible, but there didn’t seem to be much use crying because there was no one home to offer sympathy. I walked around the house sucking my throbbing finger, finally arriving at the stairway. The telephone! Quickly, I ran for the footstool in the parlor and dragged it to the landing. Climbing up, I unhooked the receiver and held it to my ear. ”Information Please,“ I said into the mouthpiece just above my head. A click or two, and a small clear voice spoke into my ear. “Information.” ”I hurt my fingerrr-“ I wailed into the phone. The tears came readily enough now that I had an audience. ”Isn’t your mother home?“ came the question. “Nobody’s at home but me,” I blubbered. “Are you bleeding?“ ”No,” I replied. “I hit it with the hammer, and it hurts.” ”Can you open your icebox?“ she asked. I said I could. ”Then chip off a little piece of ice, and hold it on your finger. That will stop the hurt. Be careful when you use the ice pick,“ she admonished. “And don’t cry. You’ll be all right.”
After that, I called Information Please for everything. I asked for help with my Geography, and she told me where Philadelphia was, and the Orinoco — the romantic river I was going to explore when I grew up. She helped me with my Arithmetic, and she told me that a pet chipmunk — I had caught him in the park just that day before — would eat fruits and nuts. And there was the time that Petey, our pet canary, died. I called Information Please and told her the sad story. She listened, then said the usual things grown-up say to soothe a child. But I was unconsoled. Why was it that birds should sing so beautifully and bring joy to whole families, only to end as a heap of feathers feet up, on the bottom of a cage? She must have sensed my deep concern, for she quietly said, ”Paul, always remember that there are other worlds to sing in.“ Somehow, I felt better.
Another day I was at the telephone. ”Information," said the now familiar voice. “How do you spell fix?” “F-I-X.“ At that instant, my sister, who took unholy joy in scaring me, jumped off the stairs at me with a banshee shriek: ”Yaaaaaaaaaa!” I fell off the stool, pulling the receiver out of the box by its roots. We were both terrified — Information Please was no longer there, and I was not at all sure that I hadn’t hurt her when I pulled the receiver out. Minutes later, there was a man on the porch. “I’m a telephone repairman. I was working down the street, and the operator said there might be some trouble at this number.” He reached for the receiver in my hand. “What happened?“ I told him. ”Well, we can fix that in a minute or two.“ He opened the telephone box, exposing a maze of wires and coils, and fiddled for a while with the end of the receiver cord, tightened things with a small screwdriver. He jiggled the hook up and down a few times, then spoke into the phone. “Hi, this is Pete. Everything’s under control at 105. The kid’s sister scared him, and he pulled the cord out of the box.” He hung up, smiled, gave me a pat on the head, and walked out the door.
All this took place in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. Then, when I was nine years old, we moved across the country to Boston — and I missed my mentor acutely. Information Please belonged in that old wooden box back at home, and I somehow never thought of trying the tall, skinny, new phone that sat on the small table in the hall. Yet, as I grew into my teens, the memories of those childhood conversations never really left me; often in moments of doubt and perplexity, I would recall the serene sense of security I had when I knew that I could call Information Please and get the right answer. I appreciated now how very patient, understanding, and kind she was to have wasted her time on a little boy.
A few years later, on my way back to college, my plane put down in Seattle. I had about half an hour between plan connections, and I spent 15 minutes or so on the phone with my sister who lived there now, happily mellowed by marriage and motherhood. Then, really without thinking what I was doing, I dialed my hometown operator and said, ”Information Please.“ Miraculously, I heard again the small, clear voice that I know so well: ”Information.” I hadn’t planned this, but I heard myself saying, “Could you tell me, please, how to spell the word ’fix’?” There was a long pause. Then came the softly spoken answer. “I guess,“ said Information Please, ”that your finger must have healed by now.” I laughed. “So it’s really still you. I wonder if you have any idea how much you meant to me during all that time....” “I wonder,“ she replied, ”if you know how much you meant to me? I never had any children, and I used to look forward to your calls. Silly, wasn’t it?“ It didn’t seem silly, but I didn’t say so. Instead, I told her how often I had thought of her over the years, and I asked if I could call her again when I came back to visit my sister when the semester was over. “Please do. Just ask for Sally.” ”Goodbye, Sally.“ It sounded strange for Information Please to have a name. ”If I run into any chipmunks, I’ll tell them to eat fruits and nuts.“ “Do that,” she said. “And I expect one of these days you’ll be off for the Orinoco. Well, good-bye.“
Just three months later, I was back again at the Seattle airport. A different voice answered, ”Information,” and I asked for Sally. “Are you a friend?” ”Yes,“ I said. ”An old friend.“ “Then I’m sorry to have to tell you. Sally had only been working part-time in the last few years because she was ill. She died five weeks ago.” But before I could hang up, she said, ”Wait a minute. Did you say your name was Villard?“ ”Yes." “Well, Sally left a message for you. She wrote it down.” “What was it?“ I asked, almost knowing in advance what it would be. ”Here it is, I’ll read it — Tell him I still say there are other worlds to sing in. He’ll know what I mean.’”
I thanked her and hung up. I did know what Sally meant.
Author Paul Villard
Sometimes, when it gets to be just a little too much,
my mind goes to places where I imagine you are.
I imagine that we casually meet,
and suddenly, there is no distance or time...
It's just you and it's just me.
It feels so real,
I often wonder if in the same moment,
you suddenly spontaneously think of me.
If somehow,
you know that I am thinking of us together,
and it causes you to feel me.
They say love has no limitations.
I believe imaginations don't either.
Because when you are in my heart,
and my mind,
time or distance has no control.
We're together in a space where I create love.
That place where love creates us.

What is True Love? I’m no seer, no enlightened soul. All I know is that, to me, these things define true love. Here’s to hoping we all allow ourselves the chance to experience it.~

True Love Is Magical, Not Magic
Sure, true love comes with moments you feel you can defy gravity. You and that special person can simply be near each other and everything is perfect. Holding hands in a storm. Smiling each time they cross your mind. Looking forward to the next time you are in each other’s arms. True love is magical, but it’s not magic. Life continually moves on. Just as bad times guarantee good will follow, good times can also be followed by bad. True love does not keep this from happening. It’s not a magic spell that ensures happiness ever after. If held onto though, it will weather all storms with you. When bad times come, true love hasn’t let you down or lost it’s magic. It’s still there, riding the rollercoaster with you.

 True Love Is Faith
To be open to true love is to truly be vulnerable. It is allowing yourself that quiet ease that comes with knowing your partner honors and cares for you. It is realizing everything you do has someone’s heart attached. We can worry about the next person that comes along. We can be on guard looking for the one that comes to steal that person away. For men, this is almost ingrained into our psyche. We must defend our love and always be on guard. For those who have been hurt, it comes even harder. Step back and see this; you never lost someone because you weren’t running off everyone else, although you could definitely lose someone by refusing to have faith in them. To grow from love to true love, let go and know that if it is true love, every day they choose you.

True Love Is Reciprocal
True love comes in pairs. The same love and affection shown to you should be what you give back. It is definitely possible to love someone more than they love you. Undoubtedly, someone has loved you more than you love them. True love is both given and received. It is a mutual admiration and bind that both of you have agreed to let flourish. It may not happen overnight. It may not develop in both parties at the same time, but when true love is present, it is gloriously mutual.

True Love Is Accepting
True love accepts flaws and weaknesses. You know everything about that person and welcome it all. They have seen all your pieces and want to be a part of your life. Friends, family, those that mean the most to each of you are all welcome in this equation. Everyone they hold close has been a part of making them the person you adore. Sure you can love someone without loving those important to them, but true love accepts. True love welcomes any healthy relationship that has made you who you are today. Your children could just as well be theirs. Their friends matter just as much as yours.

                                  AND...

True Love Is A Choice
Love and passion. Both can come out of nowhere. You can find yourself wrapped up in someone that seems like they where made specifically for you. What comes next, is a choice. Both people choose to devote themselves to the other. Both people choose to be there through good and bad. The fact is, there are many people you could fall in love with. The plain truth is, people can choose to go their separate ways and still lead a fulfilling and happy life. True love is not being incapable of going on without someone, it’s choosing to go on with them, regardless. We go through lives living, experiencing and building. True love is looking back, holding your lovers hand and appreciating you chose to do all that together.

Remind me ~Jeremy Goldberg (I love this!)

Remind me to always lie with you, but never to you, and that hurt only hurts while it lasts. Remind me to hold hands but never hold back.
Remind me of love, remind me of heart, and remind me that life will not tear me apart today, but if it tries and when it does, remind me that I’m good enough to be enough for you.
Remind me that the only way to make it last is to put us first, and remind me that the past is a prelude and pain is a choice, that I’ll get knocked down but I can get up quick, and yes, I’ll get destroyed but I can rebuild again.
When you see me flailing in rough seas, coughing up lungfuls of dark waves, and I’m thinking I’m sinking because my arms are numb and I can’t feel my legs, remind me with a hushed assurance and a knowing grin, “You’ll drown slower if your chin’s up, friend.”
Remind me to have faith.
Remind me why I love you.
Remind me that the stargaze stares we share and the galaxies we wish to explore are inside, not above, that the paths we long to travel are internal, not foreign, and remind me when my dreams seem lost like faraway lands in disrepair, that you’ll hold my hand and always care.
Remind me that it’s me you think about when you wish for happily ever after.
Remind me that not all aches are bad, that black nights still shine light and even in rainstorms or when hail comes and the sky is filled with emptiness we run from, the sun is always out somewhere.
Remind me that I am filled with light.
Remind me why your eyes do such funny things to mine and how, sometimes, time stops in the shadow of your smile.
Remind me that storm clouds are just water up high in the sky, that water is needed, that water gives life, and though it may arrive in drops of sweat or tears of strife, remind me that I can heal.
Remind me to keep you close but to never go too far, and remind me that even if we feel like a lifetime stopped and stuck in its tracks like a frozen statue of our distant past, even if it feels like pointless paralysis or a beginner’s magic trick, even when we resemble an empty well all out of wishes, remind me it will be okay and already is.
Remind me that you are strong, and remind me so am I.
Remind me that you aren’t scared when, can’t run from, won’t hide, and don’t mind my pain when it’s all I know and feel and fear.
Remind me that we’ll never know how it ends until it does, and even then, it doesn’t because what we have and who we are isn’t something we can just pack up and leave behind, like some kind of shooting star in some cold and fleeting night.
Remind me how I love getting lost in you.
Remind me that you are an adventure worth taking and never forgetting.
Remind me it starts now, today, for always in all ways, and remind me to remind you of this, all of it, always in all ways.

A FORMLESS LOVE, FORMING

Love is greater than us. We do not generate it with words and deeds, or even intentions, but we are continually embraced by it, held in its vastness, no matter what we do, or do not.
We are married, we divorce; we are friends, we are lovers; we break up, we break together; we are born, we die; the field endures.
Nobody has ever given us love; that is the great illusion. We have simply remembered the field in each other's presence, sometimes, recognised eternity in the midst of the everyday, then credited another. Love never came from outside of us; we simply touched our own presence, fell into the love that we are, and cannot not be.
And nobody ever took love away from us; we simply forgot the field, and 'blamed' the other, and looked for love again, feeling its absence, lost in a narrative of 'lost love'. Yet love was there, even in its apparent absence; it was present, even in the loss. It cannot be broken; a wave cannot crush the Ocean.
Do not seek love, do not look for the light, but be it, offer it; the joy of loving another is infinitely greater than the joy of fearfully clinging to another's love, for deep down you know it is only an illusion that what you have always longed for could ever have come from outside of you. You are the One; you have always been the One.
The search ends exactly where it began - in presence.

Awareness : Sadness... embrace it!

In every moment of sadness, another layer of outdated cellular memories leaves your energy field. As each layer is released through spontaneous expressions of doubt, despair, and disappointment, the world is equally cleansed and released from the spell of unconsciousness. This may help you understand how there is nothing to fear when sadness is present. If anything, knowing the energetic purpose behind such a misunderstood emotion reminds you to slow down and relax your body, so you may see how an experience of sadness has absolutely nothing to do with the circumstances and outcomes that bring it to the surface.
Sadness is your highest transformation being recognized in progress. No matter how lonely it may seem or how devastating it can feel, sadness acts as the unsuspecting sign that a new reality has dawned within you. As this is accepted, the consuming nature of sadness transforms into the peaceful resolve of self-realization. This helps to dispel any myth about the location of awakening that many believe exists somewhere beyond the grip of sadness. Instead, Awakening is the natural recognition of your essential nature that unfolds with ease, once the healing power of sadness has been survived.
This may also help you see how, in its’ purest form, sadness is not the absence of happiness. Sadness is actually the clean-up crew of the Universe. One breakdown at a time, it sweeps every distraction out of your energy field, so the happiness that is always here can be revealed.

What it Really Means to Hold Space ~

Four important ways you can learn to be truly present:

‘Be authentic.’ ‘Hold space.’ ‘Be present.’ These phrases may sound vague, but they’re what the women you love really need. And here’s how you can give it.

“I just need you to hold space for me.”

This phrase may strike fear into even the most stoic male heart.

“You can’t hold space!” you may cry. “It’s space!”

But if you want to be with an emotionally intelligent, spiritually inclined, mindful woman, chances are you’ll be hearing this type of phrase. It’s becoming more and more mainstream, and whether or not you consider it New Agey, this phrase describes an active state of being that is extremely powerful in a relationship.

It may seem like an absurd, haphazard combination of words that doesn’t actually describe anything. It’s actually describing one of the mysteries of life, something that cannot be described. It’s speaking about a more complex—and complete—understanding of human experience. When a woman says something like this to you, she’s inviting you to live in the moment in a full, focused, joyful way, with her. She’s asking for your help, your support. She’s asking you to pay full attention to her, witnessing her experience, without judging her experience as good or bad.

When a woman says this, she is actually asking you to be with her, and to pay attention to her, fully. This is incredibly important and I can’t stress it enough. As Jordan Gray says, another way to say ‘presence’ is ‘paying attention.’

To hold space for another person, you have to first do it for yourself. They say our bodies are 80% water—but we’re really 99% space! So breathe deeply, opening up your body further. Hold space within yourself first, which means allowing yourself to simply be. Whatever arises, don’t judge it as good or bad. Witness it, allow it, accept it.

Holding space for another is to hold space for them, within yourself. This isn’t just foo-foo energy talk: it’s building a connection with this other person, based in part on subconscious physical cues. It’s holding the person you’re with in your awareness, just as he or she is; to witness their emotions with empathy, whatever they are.

Anyone can hold space for anyone else. However, I feel that there’s an added dimension available when a man does this for a woman; namely, he is able to be present in his masculine power, and thus allow her to relax into a more feminine state. My experience is that holding masculine for myself can be very exhausting, and being with a man who is willing to step into the masculine fully so that I can ‘drop my guard’ is a huge relief.

Holding space is a way to make your masculine power available for the women around you, for the good of all. We need your presence, your masculinity, and your power. When women realize that this is what you’re doing (and yes, you’re allowed to tell them!) they will relax. Unwind, release tension, melt. They might cry, they might simply smile, they might snuggle up. However they express it, what they will really do is show you a part of themselves that few people ever get to see. It’s beautiful, and it feels great for both of you.

You have an incredible power when it comes to women. The power to hold masculine space, so that they can relax into their feminine selves. A very simplistic description of the sacred masculine is that of a container. The feminine is the fluid within, able to flow because she doesn’t have to contain herself. If you’re craving feminine presence—softness, receptivity, playfulness, authentic adorable womaniness of an indescribable quality—holding space for the women around you is how to get it. This doesn’t just benefit you: it is a huge relief to be able to just be feminine. It’s a huge relief for anyone of either gender to know that they are being truly seen, and that they are not judged. Holding space makes life easier for the people around you.

Holding space means lending your courage, your strength. It means creating a safe environment for someone you care for to exorcise the hurt within them. Allowing that person to cry, to scream, to shudder; witnessing their authentic experience and reacting with love and acceptance to the extent that you are able, is a powerful way of supporting them in this most important spiritual and emotional work.

'When a man is holding space for me, I light up. I let down my guard. I feel more energetic, more free, less worried.'

When a man turns the power of his attention to a woman, and holds space in this way, magic happens. When you truly see her, hear her, know her, you can become aware of her beauty and power. Because of your awareness, she’s able to relax into the moment, be more feminine, be more herself.

Love is a verb, like eat, or sleep. You don’t just do it once. Being present with a woman is itself an act of profound love. So practice it, and watch as magic happens around you.~

THE GURU- Jeff Foster (from 'The Way Of Rest')

The one who makes you laugh until your stomach hurts and you snort like a pig is your guru.
The one who brings tears to your eyes, the one who makes you weep your secrets out, is your guru.
The one who challenges you, triggers old pain in you, makes you face your deepest fears and longings, helps you tell the truth, is your guru.
Every breath is your guru. Every beat of the heart. Every sound.
The morning breeze caressing your cheek is your guru.
The car that won't start, the missed opportunity, the broken promise, the shattered bone, these are all your gurus.
The ones you love, the ones who frustrate you like anything, the ones who bore you to tears, the ones you don't want to remember, the ones who left, they are your gurus too.
This entire life, so fleeting, so present, so rich with blessings, is your guru.
You can go find your guru in an ashram, a church, a temple; you can seek your true salvation in a cave on a mountaintop in India; but, friend, if you look deeply into the present, you will find you are already there.
The true altar is where you stand; the holy book writes itself moment by moment.
The Kingdom is spread out over the earth, waiting for open eyes.

Who is to hold the space for a woman’s greatness? In many heterosexual relationships, a man is threatened by a woman’s greatness, finding a variety of ways to make her question her own beauty and strength. A secure man is not threatened by a woman’s intellectual or emotional power but celebrates the opportunity for joyful partnership that it offers him. The conscious question is whether a relationship can handle two stars.
We must relinquish the paradigm of men as power with women as support and instead embrace the image of both men and women as powers, with each supporting the other. Any man who holds a woman back is not a man a woman can afford to be with. A woman has a mighty and sacred task to perform on earth. She will not be able to fulfill her function if she remains with a man who derides her glory.
Women are not powerless. We just pretend we are. We do this in large part because we are afraid of the punishment inflicted on us when we dare to be who we really are. It’s a subtle form of discrimination, but it’s clearly there. A few women are allowed into the club, it seems; women who have allowed themselves to be partially declawed, their sexual threat to the status quo diminished just enough, so that men and women alike can handle the juice. But an animal in the wild is not declawed, and an animal in the wild is a beautiful thing.
In the wild, we scream. We scream when we hurt, we scream when we give birth, we scream when we come, and that’s just the way it is. Now what kind of man can handle our passion, and what kind of man can ascend to the throne next to a woman who owns her own crown? A princess attracts a prince, a queen attracts a king. Women who whine attract men who whine. Women full of the lioness heart attract men who are full of the lion.
And this is where women are now, at a place where, perhaps for the first time ever, people are remembering en masse our cosmic function. Our love affairs are not here to serve an industrial machinery or a government system. Our sex is not for procreation alone. Our love is here to spiritualize the earth. Both women and men are in quantum fast forward. We are growing new brains. We are using new eyes.
And when a woman remembers her glory, a man of goodwill can barely contain his joy. His real self arises in the presence of her own. I’m telling you, it works, this thing, this looking within to attract what is without. Make room for love, and it always comes. Make a nest for love, and it always settles. Make a home for the beloved, and he will find his way there.

I’ve been looking for you. I’ve been waiting.
I’ve been searching. I’ve been craving.
I’ve found parts of you wrapped in dragons.
Mouths full of fire and hearts that horded gold.

I’ve been longing for you. I’ve been praying.
I’ve been hoping. I’ve been swaying.
I’ve found your bounty in the kisses of kings.
Mouths full of promises that didn’t mean a thing.

I’ve been wanting after you. I’ve been weighing.
I’ve been refusing you. I’ve been waning.
I’ve found pleasure with imposters.
Mouths full of love that only we can truly foster.

I’ve found you in my dreams. I’ve found you in my desires.
I’ve found you in streams. I’ve found you in the muck and the mire.
You are my one true love and I a soul mate without her mirror
Mouth whispering in the dark, “Why’d you have to disappear?”

It is not your graces nor your body I long for. Not another half to make me whole.
I recognize you a thousand times from this life to the next. You—the reflection of my soul.
So drift as you will and I will drift too.

And should the current provide, it will bring me back to you.

Happy Bithday to meeee :)

Youth is not a period of life. It’s a state of the spirit, it’s the product of a will.
A quality of the imagination and an emotional intensity,
it’s the victory of courage over shyness,
of adventure over comfort.
One doesn’t grow older for having lived a number of years.
One gets older for having deserted an ideal.
Years will wrinkle the skin,
but giving up an ideal will wrinkle the soul.
Worries, doubts, fears and lack of hope are enemies
that slowly make us lean towards the ground .
And we become dust before our death.
Young is the one who astounds and is fascinated.
The one who asks like an insatiable child: “what’s next?”
The one that defies circumstances and finds joy in the game of life.
One is as young as one’s faith.
And as old as one’s doubts.
As young as one’s self-trust.
As one’s hope. And as old as one’s dejection.
One remains young as long as one’s receptive.
Receptive to all that is beautiful and all that is big.
Receptive to the messages of nature, of man and of the infinite.

Imraan’s Shayari (Poetry) from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Ik baat honton tak hai jo aayi nahin
Bas ankhon say hai jhaankti
Tumse kabhi, mujhse kabhi
Kuch lafz hain woh maangti
Jinko pehanke honton tak aa jaaye woh
…Aawaaz ki baahon mein baahein daalke ithlaye woh
Lekin jo yeh ik baat hai
Ahsas hi ahsas hai
Khushboo si hai jaise hawa mein tairti
Khushboo jo be-aawaaz hai
Jiska pata tumko bhi hai
Jiski khabar mujhko bhi hai
Duniya se bhi chupta nahin
Yeh jaane kaisa raaz hai

There is a matter that has almost come to my lips
This is evident in my eyes
Sometimes from you, sometimes from me
They ask for words
To take their shape and come to my lips
And to be embraced by my voice
But this matter
Is a feeling…only a feeling
Floating in air like fragrance
Fragrance becomes its voice
That you know of
That i know of
It’s not hidden from the world
Don’t know what kind of secret is this
